About the Manawatu Property Investors’ Association (MPIA)
The Manawatu Property Investors Association (MPIA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and connecting property investors in the Manawatu region. Established in 1972 as the Manawatu Landlords Association and renamed in 1990, MPIA has a rich history of helping investors network, share knowledge, and succeed in their property investment journeys.
Our mission is to empower property investors to become more professional and successful through education, networking, and advocacy. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned investor, MPIA is here to provide the tools, connections, and support you need to thrive.
Monthly Meetings
We meet on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding January) at 7:30 pm. Meetings include engaging guest speakers, expert insights, and plenty of time to connect with other members over a complimentary supper. Any changes to meeting dates or venues will be shared via email and posted on our website.
Throughout the year, we also host other events and activities to support our members. Details are shared in our newsletter and at meetings.
Advocacy and Resources
MPIA, together with the New Zealand Property Investors Federation (NZPIF), actively advocates on behalf of property investors. From lobbying local and central government to negotiating valuable member discounts, our goal is to make property investment more accessible and rewarding.
